General Information
Blue Princess & Prince Holly is a large evergreen shrub, growing up to 15 feet tall. Typically holly plants are either male or female, requiring two separate plants to produce any berries. With male and female plants in the same container, everything needed for decorative berries is in one container! The foliage gives the plant a very nice appearance. It is evergreen, dark green and quite glossy. Relatively non-showy flowers in the springtime turn into berries that mature in the fall. These berries are dark red in color and persist all winter long.

Ilex x meserveae 'Blue Duet' grows to a height of 12 to 15 feet, with a spread of 8 to 10 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. It tends to grow best in full sunlight. Blue Princess & Prince does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
