Soft Serve Gold Falsecypress is an evergreen shrub. It can grow to be larger in size, at upwards of 10 feet tall. It tends to be slower growing, taking a while to reach that height. Soft Serve typically grows in a dense, pyramidal overall growth habit. The interesting appearance and color makes it perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. The evergreen foliage is narrow and thread-like in nature. The needles keep a nice yellowish-green color throughout the year. This color will provide a nice pop in the winter.

Chamaecyparis pisifera 'FARROWCGMS' reaches a height of 6 to 10 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Soft Serve Gold Falsecypress can grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
