Kodiak Jet Black Diervilla is a deciduous shrub. It is moderate in size, reaching 4 feet tall and wide. The foliage of this diervilla is quite attractive. It will be black to purplish-black in color. The leaves will keep this color through the growing seasons. Kodiak Jet Black Diervilla will have clusters of small yellow flowers. They will be in bloom in the summertime. The flowers will be attractive to bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. It would be a great choice for a variety of spaces in your landscape!

Diervilla x 'SMNDSN' will 3 to 4 feet tall, with a similar overall spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 8. Kodiak Jet Black Diervilla can grow in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will grow well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
