General Information
Blue Pugster Butterfly Bush is an ornamental deciduous shrub. It is smaller in size, with a nice rounded overall form. The size and ornamental appeal make it perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. Grey-green foliage stays attractive all through the growing season. The flower clusters are quite large, with a broad base, tapering at the end. They bloom over a long season, from early summer into the fall. The small individual flowers are a brilliant violet-blue in color. These flowers are quite attractive to butterflies, hummingbirds and bees!

Buddleia x 'SMNBDBT' grows to a height of 18 to 24 inches, with a spread of 2 to 3 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Blue Pugster Butterfly Bush does best when planted in full sunlight. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. It displays good drought tolerance, once established.
