Vanilla Treat Butterfly Bush is a great shrub that would work well in many areas of your landscape. This deciduous shrub has a rounded, compact growth habit and a great ornamental appearance. The leaves are light green and grow densely, providing a great backdrop for the flowers. The white flowers are individually very small, growing in large cone shaped clusters. The fragrant flowers bloom from summer time until frost. These flowers are quite attractive to butterflies and other pollinators.
Additional Information
Buddleia x 'Grevantrt' grows to a height of 3 to 5 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for climate zones 5 to 9. It grows best in full sunlight. Vanilla Treat does its best in well drained soils, with at least average amounts of moisture.
