Miss Ruby Butterfly Bush is an ornamental deciduous shrub. It is larger in size, growing to 5 feet tall and wide. The ornamental appeal of this shrub make it ideal for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage is grey-green in color, keeping a very nice appearance all through the growing season. The flowers bloom over a long season from early summer to fall. The individual flowers are quite small, growing in larger flower spikes. The flowers are a beautiful reddish-pink in color. They are very attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds!

Buddleia x 'Miss Ruby' grows to a height of 4 to 5 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. It tends to grow and flower best in full sunlight. Miss Ruby does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Once established, it is said to have good drought tolerance.
