General Information

Orange Rocket Barberry is a deciduous shrub. It is moderate in size, reaching 5 feet tall. It typically grows in a columnar, upright overall fashion. The ornamental appeal of the Orange Rocket Barberry will work well in a variety of landscaping areas. Some care should be taken in siting, as this shrub contains small thorns. The individual leaves are small, but grow densely on the branches. They emerge a brilliant orange in the spring, transitioning to medium green through the summer months. In the fall the leaves will take on very attractive deep red color.

Additional Information

We treat your plant

like it's ours

  • Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.

When your plant
arrives

  • Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
