General Information
Lemon Lights Azalea is a beautiful deciduous shrub that has a good deal of ornamental benefits for different areas of your landscape. It is a multi-stemmed shrub, taking an overall rounded form. Abundant flower clusters from May into June. Trumpet shaped flowers are bright yellow in color. The flowers can take on a tone of lighter outer petals with a deeper yellow throat. Medium green foliage in the spring and summer, taking on a good maroon-bronze fall color.

Rhododendron 'Lemon Lights' grows to a height of 4 to 5 feet, with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. It is recommended for climate zones 4 to 7. It tends to grow best in full sunlight. Lemon Lights does best in well drained, slightly acidic soils with adequate amounts of moisture. It does best when given a good layer of mulch, to protect the root zone in winter. Can potentially see some re-blooming in the fall. Keep in mind that shipping size and height are an average of our plants and can vary by season.
