My order was delivered very quickly. I got my order 5 days sooner then they told me.Rebecca In TX
This tree is the center piece in a memorial for a little princess that almost made it, but was too precious to be a part of this world. It was extremely important I got a healthy plant with a guarantee and Grimm’s delivered that piece of mind and satisfaction to me. Someone took extra care and put love into growing this lilac. It it about 2.5 feet tall, thick and as bushy as a little plant can be. Would buy over and over.Rhonda from VT
I’m very happy with my Allegheny. It’s a vibrant strong plant with flower buds already to pop open. I planted it in the ground, then it snowed. Can’t wait to see it bloom!Paul in NY

Asters are one of the most commonly known fall blooming perennials. They are loved for their blooms which attract butterflies and bees alike. Come autumn, they can be found blooming across the United State in the wild, or displayed in bright masses at nurseries and garden centers. There are many cultivars available in the trade, and several native species as well. Asters are drought tolerant, adaptable to a wide range of soils and sites, and hardy to zone 3. There are species that prefer full sun to part shade, while others can be found growing in almost full shade. Colors range from bright sky blue to neon pink to starry white to yellow to purple. Some asters grow tall, up to 6 feet, while others mature at 1 foot tall. While some asters have problems with powdery mildew, new ones are being bred for resistance to the disease.
New England aster is one of the most prolific and widely planted aster, it reseeds quickly and is a favorite of bumblebees, butterflies, and moths. It can reach 6 feet tall and form large clumps. There are cultivars of NE aster with bright pink flowers, while the native has deep purple blooms.
Wood’s Purple and Wood’s Blue aster are probably the most well-known cultivars in nursery trade. They are compact plants, with excellent colors of blue and purple. They form clumps 2 to 3 feet wide and 2 feet tall.
