Autumn Blaze Maple
General Information
Autumn Blaze Maple is a deciduous shade tree. This is a large tree, reaching upwards of 60 feet tall. It will have a nice, rounded canopy at maturity. The Autumn Blaze Maple with its size, will need to be sited well, but is an ideal choice for larger landscaping areas. The tree does have a good branching structure and great growth rate. The leaves will be a very nice deep green color in the spring and summer months. In the fall, they will take on beautiful red-orange colors.
Additional Information
Acer x freemanii ‘Jeffsred’ will be 50 to 60 feet tall, with a width of 30 to 40 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 7. Autumn Blaze Maple tends to do best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
