General Information
Doozie Double Play Spirea is a deciduous shrub. It is smaller in size, reaching up to 3 feet tall. This spirea has dense growth and a nice, rounded overall growth habit. It has great ornamental appeal that is perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. The flower cluster bloom abundantly beginning late spring, reblooming from summer to fall. The flowers are a very attractive deep red, with purple tones. The leaves will emerge deep red in color, maturing to a very nice deep green color.

Spiraea x ‘NCSX2’ reaches 2 to 3 feet tall, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 8. Doozie Double Play Spirea can grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
