General Information
Fine Wine Weigela is a deciduous shrub. It is smaller in size reaching 3 feet in height. It has a mounded, densely growing overall growth habit. The ornamental appeal makes it perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage is quite attractive. It is purplish to purplish green all through the growing season. Fine Wine has abundant tubular shaped flowers in the springtime, with occasional rebloom in the summer. These flowers are deep pink in color. The flowers are great for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds.

Weigela florida ‘Bramwell’ reaches a height of 2 to 3 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Fine Wine Weigela tends to grow and flower best in full sunlight. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
