General Information
Pfitzer Compact Juniper is an evergreen shrub. It is a compact, spreading shrub with dense growth. It is ideal as a groundcover shrub. It can work well in borders, or a variety of other landscaping areas. The foliage is a bit on the prickly side, so some care may need to be taken with the siting of this plant. The foliage is narrow in size, growing densely, with a nice medium green color. This is a very nice, low maintenance shrub!

Juniperus chinensis ‘Pfitzer Compacta’ grows to a height of 3 to 4 feet, with a spread of 6 to 7 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Pfitzer Compact tends to grow best in full sunlight. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
