Hello Yellow Butterfly Milkweed
General Information
Hello Yellow Butterfly Milkweed is a cultivar of the native Butterfly Milkweed. This plant grows in an upright fashion on sturdy green stems. There are many narrow, lancolate leaves all over the stems, forming a full clump of the leaves. Large clusters of yellow flowers form on the ends of the stems in the mid to late summer time. Seed pods will form after the flowers. These plants do not emerge until the late spring, with the benefit there being the flowers not emerging until later after many other plants have lost their flowers.
