General Information
Cardinal Candy Viburnum is an ornamental deciduous shrub. It is a large shrub, reaching 8 feet tall and wide. This viburnum will be a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. It will have attractive deep green leaves, keeping a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The Cardinal Candy Viburnum will have abundant flower cluster in the springtime, bright white in color. Berries will follow, maturing to bright red in color in the fall. The berries are not edible, but are quite attractive to birds. Another variety of viburnum will help with increase berry production.
Additional Information
Viburnum dilatatum ’Henneke’ will be 6 to 8 feet tall, with a similar width. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 8. Cardinal Candy Viburnum will grow well in full to partial sunlight. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
