Vanilla Cream II False Indigo is a great perennial plant. It is of moderate size, reaching 3 foot tall and wide. This plant will have a nice upright form, with attractive flowers and foliage. The Vanilla Cream II False Indigo will be a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves will emerge with a bronze tint, before turning grey-green in color. It will provide the plant a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers will bloom in abundance from late spring to early summer. The flowers will be a very attractive creamy-white in color. Seed pods will follow the flowers. The flowers can be quite attractive to pollinators!

Baptisia ‘Vanilla Cream II‘ will be 36 to 42 inches tall, with a spread of 30 to 36 inches wide. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Vanilla Cream II False Indigo can grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. This plant will have good drought tolerance once established.
