General Information

Valentine’s Crush Hibiscus is a perennial hibiscus shrub. It will have an upright growth habit, with great ornamental appeal. This hibiscus would be a great choice for a variety of landscape settings. The leaves are dark green in color, with a bronze tint. It will give the hibiscus a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers bloom in abundance from mid to late summer, quite large at up to 8 inches wide. They are bright red in color, with magenta-purple accents near the center eye. The flowers of the Valentine’s Crush Hibiscus are attractive to pollinators!

Hibiscus ‘Valentine’s Crush’ will be 4 to 5 feet tall, with a width of 3 to 3.5 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Valentine’s Crush Hibiscus will do well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average, consistent amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
