Beautiful deep red, heart shaped blooms dangle from dark red stems. A white pendulum hangs beneath the unique red hearts. The deeply lobed, delicate foliage and red blooms of the Valentine Bleeding Heart will add a wonderful accent to your shady, woodland garden. Plant as a specimen or in mass plantings. It also adds great character to fresh floral arrangements.

‘Valentine’ Dicentra grows best in Full to Part Shade. It will grow to a height of 24-36″ with a spread of 18-30″. Plant in zones 3 to 9. The Valentine Dicentra is deer and rabbit resistant.

Plant in moist, rich soil with good drainage. Slugs may cause damage. Hot, dry weather may cause the plant to grow dormant. Can be cut back after flowering to promote foliage growth.
