Twilite Prairieblues False Indigo is a perennial plant. It is a larger sized perennial, reaching up to 5 feet tall. This plant will have an upright form, with great ornamental appeal. The Twilite Prairieblues False Indigo would be a great choice for a variety of landscape settings. The foliage is blue-green in color, keeping a very attractive appearance throughout the growing seasons. The flowers bloom in great abundance on the stems from the late spring to early summertime. They are violet-purple in color, with a bright yellow accent at the base. Twilite Prairieblues False Indigo will attract butterflies with its flowers!

Baptisia × variicolor ‘Twilite Prairieblues’ will be 3.5 to 5 feet tall, with a width of 4 to 5 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Twilite Prairieblues False Indigo will grow in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Develops good drought tolerance once well established.
