General Information
Tequila Sunrise Heirloom California Poppies are a great choice for your flower garden. This mix of seeds is an exclusive mix from Renees Garden seed company. These poppies are easy to grow. The foliage is feathery in appearance, with a very attractive grey-green color. The flowers will bloom in abundance over the spring and summer months. They will be creamy-white or deep red to orange in color. Great for attracting pollinators. Each of the packets will contain approximately 1275 seeds.
Additional Information
The seeds are typically most easily started outdoors. They should be planted earlier in the spring. The plants can tolerate lighter frosts. Plant seeds 2 to 3 inches apart, thinning to 4 inches once seedlings are established. If seed pods form and drop their seeds the poppies may self seed for the next growing season.
