The Sweetheart Cherry Tree is a compact tree with amazing ornamental features and outstanding summer fruit, it is not only a source of wonderful fruit but in Mid- April brings pristine white flowers, quickly followed b mid-July cherries. The Sweetheart Cherry brings a shiny, bright exterior that covers a smooth crisp skin. The interior flesh is meaty and firm, but with a delicious sweet flavor. There is a slight hint of acidic undertone to provide the perfect amount of bite to this unique cherry.
Additional Information
Prunus avium ‘Sweetheart’ is a self-fruiting tree so you don’t have to invest in other trees to ensure a productive season, however the addition of a pollinator will only serve to increase it’s production! The Sweetheart Cherry tree matures into a delightfully round shape.
