Description

Superior Blueberry

General Information

Superior Blueberry is a deciduous fruiting shrub.  It has great berries, to go along with some nice ornamental appeal.  This shrub is moderate in size, growing in an overall upright habit.  Nice blue-green foliage in the growing season, tinted maroon-red in the fall.  It produces very attractive clusters of white, bell shaped flowers in the springtime.  They are produced a little later than some other varieties, lessening the chance of frost damage.  The blueberries typically ripen early to mid July.  They have a nice sweet taste, perfect for fresh eating or a variety of other culinary uses.
