Super Sugar Snap Peas
General Information
Super Sugar Snap Peas are a great addition to any vegetable garden. This is a vigorous plant, growing up to 5 feet tall. For proper growth, they will need to be trained on netting, a trellis or some form of supports. These peas will form large, long deep green pods. The pods are sweet, with thick and juicy walls. They can be picked once the peas are well formed. The Sugar Snap Peas are perfect for fresh eating, in a salad, sautéed or for a variety of other uses. These Super Sugar Snap Pea seeds are from Renees Garden seed company. Each packet will weigh 20 grams and contains 80 to 85 seeds.
Additional Information
Super Sugar Snap Peas can be planted from March to May for early crops and July to August for fall harvest. The seeds should be planted at a depth of 1 inch, spaced 2 to 3 inches. These seeds should germinate in around 7 to 10 days. The plants will reach maturity in approximately 60 to 65 days.
