General Information

Sundrop Spirea is a deciduous shrub. It is smaller in size, reaching up to 15 inches tall. This shrub will form as a nice low growing, slightly spreading dense mound of foliage. Sundrop Spirea will be a great choice for a variety of different areas in your landscape. The leaves are smaller in size, with a very attractive golden yellow color. They may take on a reddish tint in the fall. Small, abundant pink flower clusters in the late spring to early summertime.

Additional Information

Spiraea ‘Bailcarol’ will be 12 to 15 inches tall, with a spread of 2 to 3 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 8. Sundrop Spirea tends to do best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
