General Information
Summersong Firefinch Coneflower is a perennial plant. It is moderate in size, reaching to 16 inches tall. The plants have a nice, full appearance, with flowers held above the foliage. They are a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves grow densely, with a nice dark green color. They give the plant a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers grow in abundance from early summer until frost. They will be a variety of beautiful shades, pink, reddish-pink to red-orange in color. The petals surround the center seed cone, which left standing, is a good food source for finches and other small birds in the winter.

Echinacea hybrida ‘Summersong Firefinch’ will be 12 to 16 inches tall, with a spread of 16 to 18 inches. It is recommended for USDA planting zones 4 to 8. Summersong Firefinch Coneflower will grow well in full to partial sunlight. They will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
