Summer Sunflowers Scatter Canister
Dancing Joyous Sunflowers add a delightful element to any garden area you may have! These heirloom sunflowers provide nectar and pollen to bees, butterflies and other pollinators. They can provide a nice food source for birds in the wintertime. The Autumn Beauty and Mammoth sunflowers provide a nice variance in height as well as different color schemes. Autumn Beauty will be up to 6 feet tall, with colors of red, orange, yellow and bronze. The Mammoth Sunflower can grow upwards of 15 feet tall, and is yellow in color.
Planting & Packaging Information
This canister contains 2.5 ounces of seed. It can cover an area of 400 square feet. These sunflowers tend to grow best in full sunlight conditions. After the soil is prepared for the planting, lightly scatter the seeds over the area intended. The seeds should then be covered with .5 to 1 inch of soil. After the seedlings are well established, thin to 10 to 12 inches apart.
