General Information
Summer Solstice Sombrero Coneflower is an ornamental perennial plant. It is moderate in size, ideal for a variety of landscaping areas. This plant forms as a clump of foliage, with upright flower stems. The foliage is a very nice dark green in color throughout the spring and summer months. It provides a nice backdrop for the flowers. Summer Solstice has abundant blooms from late spring, through the summer time. The flowers are bright yellow in color, with an orangish-brown center cone.

Echinacea hybrida ‘Balsomsolst’ reaches a height of 18 to 20 inches, with a spread of 22 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Summer Solstice Coneflower grows well in full sunlight. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
