General Information
Summer Eclipse False Sunflower is a perennial plant. It will have a nice rounded, upright overall growth habit. The leaves will be dark green in color with burgundy overtones. It will provide the plant with a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers of the Summer Eclipse False Sunflower are deep orange toward the center, lightening to yellow-orange at the edges. They will be in bloom all through the summertime. This will be a great choice for a variety of landscaping spaces. Great for attracting bees and other pollinators.

Heliopsis helianthoides ‘Summer Eclipse’ will be 24 to 30 inches tall, with a similar overall width. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Summer Eclipse False Sunflower will tend to do best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
