General Information
Sugar Cube Mini Cantaloupe is a great choice for your garden. This seed packet is from Renee’s Garden seed company. These cantaloupe vines have a vigorous growth habit, producing a good deal of melons on each plant. The Sugar Cube Cantaloupes are quite small, growing to the approximate size of a grapefruit. The cantaloupes are deep orange in color, with a delightfully sweet taste. They plants are said to have great disease resistance. Each of the seed packets will contain approximately 17 seeds.
Additional Information
These seeds can be started outdoors after chance of frost has passed and temperatures remain above 50 degrees at night. Seeds should be planted in groups of 3 seeds spaced about two feet apart, spaced in rows 4 feet apart. Thin to one plant, to allow for full growth potential. Can be planted in hills spaced five feet apart, with about 3 plants per hill. Seeds germinate in about 7 to 10 days. Harvest can occur in approximately 75 to 80 days.
