General Information
Standing Ovation Serviceberry is a great ornamental, deciduous tree. It is a shorter tree that is ideal for a number of different landscaping areas. It grows in an oval and very upright overall fashion. Delightful, oval shaped deep green leaves throughout the spring and summer months. In the fall, they change to a very ornamental red and orange. In the springtime, the tree has abundant clusters of white flowers. Edible berries follow these flowers in the early summer. Very attractive to birds!

Amelanchier alnifolia ‘Obelisk’ grows to a height of 12 to 15 feet, with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 2 to 8. Standing Ovation Serviceberry grows well in full sunlight. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
