General Information

Sky Rocket Fountain Grass is an annual grass plant. It will have a nice upright form. The foliage is longer and arching in overall form. They are deep green in color, with white outer stripes. The upright flower plumes are in bloom from midsummer into fall. These plumes are whitish in color, with a pink tint. The Sky Rocket Fountain Grass will work well in containers or in landscape beds.

Additional Information

Pennisetum setaceum ‘Rubrum’ will be 24 to 30 inches tall, with a width of 16 to 20 inches. This grass in annual in most all areas, but can be grown as a perennial in zones 9 to 11. It will do well in full sunlight conditions. Sky Rocket Fountain Grass will grow well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
