Sensational Lavender
General Information
Sensational Lavender is a perennial plant. It will have a dense growth habit, with a great deal of visual appeal. This plant will be a great choice in a variety of different landscaping areas. The individual leaves are small, but grow quite densely. They will emerge silver in the spring, grey-green through the rest of the growing season. The Sensational Lavender will have very nice, fragrant flower spikes. They are a very attractive violet-purple in color, blooming mid to late summer. The flowers are great for cut arrangements or for drying.
Additional Information
Lavandula x intermedia ‘Tesseract’ will be 24 to 30 inches tall, with a width of 30 to 36 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Sensational Lavender will tend to do best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
