Sea Heart Brunnera
General Information
Sea Heart Brunnera is a perennial plant. It is a shorter plant, reaching 1 foot tall. This plant will form as a mound of foliage, with nice ornamental appeal. It would be a great choice for a variety of landscape settings. The flower clusters bloom in abundance in the mid to late springtime. The small flowers will emerge light blue in color, maturing to pinkish-lavender. The heart shaped leaves are quite attractive. They have dark green veining, with a silvery overlay. The Sea Heart Brunnera may perform best in partially shaded areas, but does have good sun tolerance.

Brunnera macrophylla ‘Sea Heart’ will be 6 to 12 inches tall, with a spread of 18 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Sea Heart Brunnera will perform best in part shade conditions. It may have more trouble in the hottest and sunniest of climates. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
