Description

Royal Raindrop Crabapple

General Information

Royal Raindrops Crabapple features bright pink, spring flowers that provide a stunning contrast to the purple cutleaf foliage. The rich purple leaves hold their color well through the heat of summer. In late summer, small, bright red fruits appear that are very attractive to wildlife.  The crabapples persist into early winter. It has good upright form and branching that reduces the need for pruning and shaping.  Royal Raindrops is more vigorous than other purple leaved cultivars.  Good performance in windy climates. Beautiful orange-red, bronze fall color. Great all season appeal. Beautiful tree for a specimen or accent tree.  Can be used to line a street or driveway.  Beautiful planted in small groupings. A must have tree for your landscape!
