Red Rocks Beardtongue

General Information

Red Rocks Beardtongue is an ornamental perennial plant.  It is moderate in size, growing up to 18 inches tall.  The overall size and ornamental appeal make it perfect for a variety of landscaping areas.  The plant forms as a mound of foliage, with flowers held above.  The leaves are narrow, medium green in color, and keep a nice appearance all through the growing season.  Tubular flowers grow on spikes from early to late summer.  They are a very nice rosy-red in color, with a white throat.  Great for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds!
