Red Deer Tongue Lettuce will be a nice choice for your garden. The leaves are rounded, coming to a triangular end. They will have a very attractive reddish-green color. The Red Deer Tongue Lettuce will have loose heads with vigorous overall growth. It will have a delightful flavor, perfect for all of your salads. Each of the seed packets will contain approximately 845 seeds.
Additional Information
The seeds can be started out in the garden. They should be planted about an inch apart, covered with a quarter inch of soil. Thin to about 6 inches apart to allow for full growth potential. Plant in the spring to harvest before warm weather arrives. Plant again late summer for a fall harvest.
