General Information
Raspberry Swirl Dianthus is a delightful perennial plant. It is great in borders, flower beds, containers and a variety of other landscaping areas. It forms as a low mound of foliage, with flower stems growing above. The foliage is narrow, growing quite densely, and blue-green in color. The flowers are light pink in color, with deep maroon edges. As the season progresses, the flower transition to white, with magenta edges. The flowers bloom in the late spring to early summer. A light shearing after the first bloom will encourage new flowering late summer to early fall. Great for attracting butterflies and other pollinators!
Additional Information
Dianthus ‘Devon Siskin’ grows to a height of 8 to 14 inches, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. It grows best in full sunlight. Raspberry Swirl grows well with average to minimal amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
