General Information
Rainforest Sunrise Hosta is a smaller sized hosta that has uses in many different landscape settings. The leaves of the Rainforest Sunrise have the standard crinkled appearance. The leaves begin a light green color, maturing into a golden yellow trimmed in a dark green. Light lavender flowers emerge midsummer on two foot long stems, producing many flowers on each stem. The wonderful golden color of the leaves and midsummer flowers make the Rainforest Sunrise a plant that every landscape needs.

Hosta ‘Rainforest Sunrise’ grows 8 to 12 inches in height and 16 to 18 inches wide. It is recommended for climate zones 3 to 9. Prefers average, consistent water in well drained soil conditions. This hosta grows best in full to partial shade. This plant dies back over winter, but will come back every spring. The smaller size of this plant make it perfect for container or patio spaces.
