General Information
Queenette True Thai Basil is a great choice for your herb garden. This is an exclusive seed variety from Renees Garden seed company. This plant will grow quite large, at up to 1.5 feet tall. This basil functions well as both an ornamental and edible plant. It has very attractive purple stems to go along with the foliage. This plant will produce very nice flowers, but are typically best removed to encourage foliage production. The abundant foliage is deep green in color, with a sweet and spicy flavor. This is a great ingredient in variety of Asian style dishes, amongst other applications. Each of the seed packets will weigh .65 grams, containing approximately 500 seeds.
Additional Information
These seeds can be started indoors or directly planted in the garden. Temperatures should be above 50 degrees when planted outside. Seeds should be planted 1 inch apart, before eventually thinning to 8 inches apart.
