Purring Tiger Iris is a perennial plant. This will is a compact growing iris, providing a good deal of ornamental appeal. It would be a great choice for a variety of different landscaping areas. Purring Tiger Iris will have a lower growing clump of deep green foliage. This will provide the plant with a nice appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers will have a beautiful mix of colors. It will have golden yellow petals with purple veining, with center petals that are purple. They will bloom abundantly in the early summertime. Great for attracting bees and hummingbirds!

Iris sibirica ‘Purring Tiger’ will be 18 to 20 inches tall, with a width of 18 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Purring Tiger Iris can grow in full to part sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
