Purple Haze Butterfly Bush is a deciduous shrub. It is smaller in size, at 3 feet tall. It tends to grow in a dense, rounded overall form. It has great ornamental appeal, perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. The shrub has very attractive medium green foliage. It gives the plant a nice appearance throughout the growing seasons. The flower cones bloom in abundance from summer to fall. They have a nice fragrance and beautiful violet-purple color. These flowers are great for attracting butterflies and hummingbirds!

Buddleia x ‘Purple Haze’ reaches a height of 2 to 3 feet, with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Purple Haze Butterfly Bush will tend to grow best when planted in full sunlight. It will grow well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
