General Information

Plumbago Leadwort features brilliant clusters of deep blue flowers above the shiny green foliage. The attractive blooms last from summer to frost and attract butterflies.  Foliage turns bronze-red in fall.  The foliage of Plumbago Leadwort emerges in late spring as foliage from spring bulbs begins to die off, making it a great companion plant. Great low maintenance ground cover. Use in a rock garden, border or as a fill plant under shrubs.

Additional Information

Ceratostigma plumbaginoides grows best in Full to Part Sun.  It will grow 8-12″ tall with a spread of 10-20″. Plant in zones 5 to 11. Tolerates clay soil.  Drought tolerant. Attracts butterflies.

Easy to grow in average, well drained soil. Tolerates a variety of soils as long as there is good drainage.No serious insect or disease problems.  NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN THESE US STATES AND TERRITORIES: AK, HI, GM, PR, VI.
