General Information
Pink Delight Butterfly Bush is a deciduous shrub that could be an excellent choice for your landscape. It typically grows in an overall arching, spreading fashion. It can grow quite large in overall size, but with trimming stays to about 6 to 7 feet tall and wide. Willowy, oval shaped grey-green foliage creates a dense backdrop for the flowers. Large cone shaped clusters of small bright pink flowers. These flowers bloom from June through September, sometimes until frost. They have a great fragrance that is very attractive to butterflies. Great for cut flower purposes.
Additional Information
Buddleia davidii ‘Pink Delight’ grows to a height of 5 to 7 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for climate zones 5 to 9. It does tend to flower best in full sunlight. Pink Delight Butterfly Bush grows best in well drained soils with average amounts of moisture. Not known to have any disease or insect issues.
