PF 28-007 Peach is a great peach variety for your orchard. This tree was developed in Michigan in the famous Paul Friday peach tree program. The tree itself has a nice overall appearance, growing upright and rounded, with deep green foliage. The tree comes into bloom in the springtime, with nice, five petaled flowers. The peaches are large in size, freestone and have very little fuzz. The peach has a yellow base color, blushing red at maturity. The fruit is firm, juicy and sweet, perfect for eating right of the tree. The peaches generally mature in early August.

Prunus persica ‘PF 28-007’ grows to a height of 12 to 15 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for climate zones 5 to 8. It likes to grow in full sunlight. PF 28-007 tends to grow best in rich, well drained soils with at least average amounts of moisture. The variety is said to have good resistance to bacterial spot. This peach is self pollinating, but can benefit from having other trees nearby.
