General Information
Persian Violet Nigella is a nice choice for your garden. These seeds are an exclusive offering from Renee’s Garden seed company. The foliage is deep green in color, with a fern-like appearance. The flowers bloom in abundance in the spring and summer. The flowers emerge white with a light blue hue, before turning a beautiful indigo-violet in color. The seed pods that follow the flowers are reddish and green striped, quite ornamental! The flowers and seedpods are great for cut arrangements. Each of the seed packets will contain approximately 245 seeds.
Additional Information
The Persian Violet Nigella is best planted directly in the garden in the early springtime. The seeds should be planted a quarter inch deep, 2 to 3 inches apart. Thin seedlings to 6 inch spacing to allow for full growth potential. Plants will mature to a height of 2 to 3 feet.
