Perfect Storm Hibiscus

General Information

Perfect Storm Hibiscus is a dense, rounded compact plant.  Dark leaves in maroon-black green color are oval or stretched in form.  Huge flowers are what make this plant stand out.  The white with a pink hue flowers on the Perfect Storm are 7 to 8 inches wide with a red center that spreads slightly on veins in the flower.  Blooms last from early summer until early in the autumn.

Additional Information

Perfect Storm grows 3 Feet tall with a spread of 4 to 5 Feet.  The plant needs full sun and moist well drained soil. Needs to have old growth trimmed back in late winter or early spring before new growth emerges.  Faded flowers should be removed to encourage new growth.  Japanese beetles are a problem with the plant, so keep an eye out for them.
