General Information
Patriot Hosta is a perennial plant. It is a moderate sized hosta, reaching 22 inches tall. It will have a nice rounded form, with great ornamental appeal. The Patriot Hosta will provide a great pop of color to shaded areas of your landscape. The leaves have a nice thickness, with a wavy appearance. They emerge deep green in center, with cream colored edges. The edges turn whiter as the weather warms. Flowers will bloom in the midsummer time, with a nice lavender color. The flowers of the Patriot Hosta are great for attracting hummingbirds!
Additional Information
Hosta ‘Patriot’ will be 18 to 22 inches tall, with a width of 26 to 30 inches. The flower stems will reach up to 30 inches in height. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Patriot Hosta will tend to do best when planted in full to part shade conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
