It grows in an attractive vase shape. Its deep green foliage turns a brilliant yellow in fall. Insignificant brown pods. This native tree is effective as a single specimen or in groupings. The MN Strain Multi-Stemmed Redbud makes a wonderful small tree to brighten the landscape. Excellent as an accent tree.

Cercis canadensis ‘MN Strain’ grows best in Full to Part Sun. It will grow 20-30′ tall with a spread of 25-35′. Plant in zones 4 to 9. Good deer resistance. Tolerates air pollution.
