Are you looking for an early spring beauty?  The MN Strain Multi-stemmed Redbud is the tree for you!  Its reddish pink flowers open in March before the beautiful heart-shaped foliage appears.  Seeing the woods dotted with the purple blooms of the redbud is a welcome sign that spring is finally here! This redbud is available in clump form as well as a single trunk. It grows in an attractive vase shape.  Its deep green foliage turns a brilliant yellow in fall. Insignificant brown pods.  This native tree is effective as a single specimen or in groupings.  The MN Strain Multi-Stemmed Redbud makes a wonderful small tree to brighten the landscape. Excellent as an accent tree.

Additional Information

Cercis canadensis ‘MN Strain’ grows best in Full to Part Sun. It will grow 20-30′ tall with a spread of 25-35′. Plant in zones 4 to 9. Good deer resistance. Tolerates air pollution.
