Miss Kim Lilac
General Information
Miss Kim Lilac is a compact, upright, deciduous shrub. Its lavender-blue flowers grow in terminal clusters of single flowers that bloom late spring to early summer. They are sweetly fragrant, and would make a wonderful addition to a cut flower bouquet. The dark green leaves change to an attractive burgundy color in fall. This lilac is a great choice for southern climates. Plant as a specimen or mass planting. Use as a foundation planting or shrub border.

Syringa patula ‘Miss Kim ‘grows best in Full Sun. They will grow 6 to 7 feet tall with a spread of 5 to 6 feet. Plant in zones 3 to 7. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies. Deer tolerant.

Easy to grow in average, well drained soil. This is a great plant that requires little maintenance. Fertilize spring and fall with Tree & Shrub fertilizer. Trim and shape immediately after blooming so that the next years blooms are not affected. Remove dead or damaged branches. No serious insect or disease problems. Good mildew resistance.
