General Information
Mauna Loa Daylily is a perennial plant. It is size controlled, reaching up two feet tall. This plant forms as a nice clump of foliage, with flowers held above. Mauna Loa Daylily will work well in a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are long and narrow, arching outward. They are deep green in color, keeping a nice appearance through the growing seasons. Large, abundant flowers in the summer months. They are golden to orange in color, with a red tinted edge. The flowers are very attractive to butterflies!

Hemerocallis ‘Mauna Loa’ will be 18 to 24 inches tall, with a spread of 12 to 18 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Mauna Loa Daylily will do well in full to part sun conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
